Starting with
one wooden tug built in 1926, Star Marine began towing sand and
gravel, houses and construction equipment around Puget Sound starting
in 1974.
With our present
fleet of steel tugs, Star Marine has exanded operations from the
Columbia River to Alaska.
Projects for
customers like Boeing, the U S Navy, Port Townsend Paper and many
of the region's leading marine construction contractors have given
us wide experience handling the most demanding projects under
often adverse conditions.
